A woman using medical marijuana to curb her anxiety had her job offer pulled by at St. Luke’s medical practice after she failed a drug screen, her lawsuit says.
The East Bangor woman filed the federal lawsuit in March against St. Luke’s Physician Group. It says she uses marijuana under a doctor’s care to treat post-traumatic stress and anxiety. Her name is being withheld by lehighvalleylive.com due to her medical condition.
St. Luke’s attorney David M. Steckel of Allentown didn’t respond to an emailed message seeking comment on the lawsuit.
